Working at Heights – MOL approved

As of April 1, 2015, employers in Ontario must ensure that workers on construction projects who use methods of fall protectionScreen shot 2016-08-19 at 11.18.35 AM successfully complete the ‘working at heights’ training that meets training program and provider standards established by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO).

The training requirement is for workers on construction projects who use any of the following methods of fall protection:

  • travel restraint systems
  • fall restricting systems
  • fall arrest systems
  • safety nets
  • work belts or safety belts
