Joint Health Safety Committee – MOL approved

Any organization that has 20 or more employees must have a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) with at least two (2) Screen shot 2016-08-19 at 11.19.41 AMcertified members according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act section 9(2),(12) one representing management and one representing workers.

The course is broken up in two (2) parts these are: Certification training Part One which covers Occupational Health & Safety laws and the responsibilities for certified members for a duration of three (3) days in-class and Certification training Part Two which covers six (6) topics specific to the sector for a duration of two (2) days in-class.
